Welcome to my blog. Grab your favorite libation and join in. I am new to this and don't know where it is going but thought I would give it a try. I live in Tennessee, but prefer Northern Nevada, Wyoming and Arizona. My kids and grand kids are here, so this is where I am.....for the moment.
I have spent many years in the casino industry and still miss the interaction with customers. I made many friends of customers and co workers through the years. You see both and a good and a down side in this industry. I prefer to concentrate on the good in every facet of life.
I have just started a new job as a Leasing Agent in an apartment complex. I enjoy learning new things and hopefully this will provide a good income and a good experience. When the dust settles and routine sets in, I plan on going back to school. I won't be going for a degree, just some classes I am interested in. I would like to take accounting, small business administration, criminal justice, medical transcription and Spanish. As you can see, I will have some choices to make.
My interests are wide range. In the past I have collected dolls, made jewelry and raised kids. I am now into quilting and other needlework and helping raise grandkids. I would love to get back to jewelry making and have taken one class in wirewrapping that I enjoyed, but I wasn't crazy about the resulting earrings. I liked the other students results better than mine, but she wouldn't trade. I would like to learn lampwork beads and completely finish a quilt.
I have three grandsons: 12, 7 and 6, that keep me on my toes. I live with them at the moment but hopefully will have my own place soon. I need my own hideaway. I have a step-granddaughter who is 18 and will be graduating from High School in May.
Now it is time for a nap. The kids are out of school tomorrow and I am off work (paid employment) and need to conserve and build my strengh to face tomorrow.
